CareWell Hospitals was born out of a need for affordable, accesable, quality health care to communities.
Carewell Hospitals are independently owned and managed hospitals located in the Western Cape that focuses on serving previously underserved communities with accessible, affordable and quality private health care. Carewell hospitals uses a combination of Day, Sub-acute rehabilitation and Acute hospital beds to best deliver in the needs of diverse communities. In addition to hospitalisation the Carewell facilities also boast a combination of ancillary medical service providers including radiology, pathology, pharmacy, doctor’s rooms and specialist session rooms. All Carewell Hospitals are also members of the National Hospital Network, a body that represents over 200 independent hospitals in South Africa.
"Carewell Hospitals tries to create a medical hub in the towns and surrounding areas we operate in to draw medical service delivery to these under serviced areas. By providing session rooms to specialists, day hospitals and physical rehabilitation units we attract the service to the patient instead of the patient having to travel long distances for these services. We do this while staying true to our Vision of Affordable, Accessible and Quality care".
